The firm was founded by Ian Ferreyra de Bone. Previously, Ian was a Managing Director at Sotheby's with a remit overseeing departments including Jewelry, Watches, Wine & Spirits, Fashion, Sports Memorabilia, Automotive, 20th Century Design Furniture, Books, Science, Pop Culture, and Real Estate - all of which delivered significant growth and overperformance during his tenure from 2021-2025.

Prior to Sotheby’s, Ian had a long career in Corporate Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions for large multinational companies in the US and South America.  He holds dual Bachelors degrees in Economics and Studio Art from Williams College. Ian was named one of five finalists for the 2017 Alliance of M&A Advisors Thought Leader of the Year award and received the 2017 Deal Partner of the Year award from ACG NY on behalf of his work at CT Corporation.
